Evaluation of Implant Stability Following Sinus Augmentation Utilizing Bovine Bone Mixed with Platelet-Rich Fibrin

Background: Lateral sinus augmentation and simultaneous insertion of dental implants is a highlypredictable procedure associated with high rate success.Aims: To evaluate implant stability changes following maxillary utilizing deproteinizedbovine bone alone or mixed platelet-rich fibrin.Materials Methods: A total 34 lateral procedures were performed 50 dentalimplants simultaneously installed. The cases allocated randomly into 3groups: Group comprised 13 21 solely deproteinized bovine bone.Group B involved 10 16 using leukocyteand fibrin. C included 11 operations employing advanced Resonance frequency analysis test was performedimmediately after installation 24 weeks postoperatively for the measurement implantstability.Results: Implant quotient values increased significantly all study groups (P= 0.001). at T1 (day installation) 56.93±12.01 group A, 58.34 ±12.82 B, 61.35 ±8.47 C. quotientat T2 (24 insertion) 69.17 ±5.10, 69.43 ±5.32, 68.50 ±7.44, respectively.Conclusion: addition leukocyte fibrin to bovinebone floor did not value in comparison thebovine alone.
